Stay at Home Dad Mentors and Coaches Others

One of the best things that I do as a stay at home dad  is to help other people. On some level we are all here to make progress towards a bigger goal. Since the dawn of time man has struggled to make things better for himself, his children and future generations. When we watch old movies or read books about earlier times, and see how hard people used to have things, we feel lucky that we live now, in these times. Even as we complain about the rapid pace of changing technology we benefit everyday from the advances these things bring.

Can you remember when you didn’t have a cell phone? Can you remember when you had to take your computer apart to upgrade the hard drive? A few generations ago you could only get money from the bank between 9 and 5 Monday through Friday. A few generations before that you could only play music by winding up a gramophone and using those hard, plastic records which carried one song at a time. People thought it was a real advance when they invented the 33 rpm record album that you could fill up with as many as 5 songs on one side. Now that I am a stay at home dad, I have time to stop and marvel at the difference between my lifestyle and my grandfather’s lifestyle. There’s no way he could have run a business out of his home to support his family.

That’s what I love about coaching others. I love to see the personal growth that each and every individual can make simply by tuning their belief system to know that something is not just possible, it’s our destiny. Think about the industrial revolution, when man poured pollution into the atmosphere and put small children to work in the mines and the mills because their small fingers could work in and out of intricate machinery better than adults’ fingers. Many children lost their fingers in the cotton mills and wool mills of old. Imagine how their parents must have dreamed of a better way to make money so they could afford to keep their children at home, or in school. As a stay at home dad, I look at Kayla, my daughter and I am glad that I live in an age where so much more is possible. I’m living proof that the struggles of previous generations have led to something much better.

If I can do it, you can do it too. You, too, could be a stay at home dad and be present in your children’s lives while earning better money they have you ever made before. Reach down inside and think about what you could do from home. Everyone has some kind of skill, passion, hobby, or interest that can be turned into a money making idea.

All you need is to find the right idea and get started.
